Greece to receive 3 billion for Russian gas supplies

Greece can receive up to 3 billion euro as an advance in the case of signing of a contract on construction of transit gas pipeline through the country to supply Russian gas, the Prime Minister of the country Alexis Tsipras states.

According to him, as a result of the implementation of the project, a European energy hub will form in Greece, the cost of energy for Greece will decrease. At the same time Athens believes that the condition of the pipeline construction is compliance with all standards of EU legislation, the Prime Minister said.
