Ex-co-owner of Trade Nafta asks FSS and ICR to check the legality of Bashneft’s deals

E. Mulyukov, former co-owner of Trade Nafta Ltd, has addressed the Federal Security Service and the Investigation Committee of Russia asking to check the legality of the agreement for products supply by Bashneft which, according to him, have caused a multi-billion loss to the Government.

“Mr. Mulyukov has the proof of violation of rights of Russia as the shareholder of Bashneft from the part of the company’s management and 5 companies, the beneficiary of which is M. Golub. As a result of their activity in 2015 the loss of Bashneft, and consequently, Russia made up about $500 mln”, is said in the letter.

“Only in 2015 one of the companies of M. Golub – Exim Group” Ltd – made 2.7 bln roubles though previously Lukoil and Bashneft didn’t need such a “serious” intermediary. These funds were received by the scheme of fake oil sale, the lawyer of Mr. Mulyukov, F. Trusov said.
