1.58 billion hryvnias to be invested into Nikopol ferroalloy plant

The investment program will last for five years and will be declared for execution in the case of "stable work of the enterprise." It’s planned to construct an own power plant for $500 million within this program.

The Nikopol ferroalloy plant (NFP) intends to provide the implementation of the investment program in the amount of 1.578 billion hryvnias in 2013-2017 in case of the stable work of the enterprise. As the enterprise’s General Director Vladimir Kutsin reported on Tuesday, May 28, the investment program provides for investments in the amount of 630 million hryvnias to support the industrial activity. Besides, 500 million hryvnias are supposed to be transferred for construction of the own power plant, 247 million hryvnias for energy-efficiency measures and 201 million hryvnias on ecological measures.
