Tatneft has constructed oil pipeline at the bottom of the Izh river

​The channel for the drain tunnel was drilled by the method of horizontally inclined drilling.

Tatneft has constructed a site of the oil pipeline for “Prikamneft” that has the underwater pass via the Izh river. Modern, ecologically safe technologies were applied.

The well was drilled from one bank to another at the riverbed with the exit to the surface.

The length of the oil pipeline made up 2,208 m.

This is the 2nd drain tunnel via the river constructed by the company within the past 3 years by the method of horizontally inclined drilling. In 2012 Tatneft put into operation the oil pipeline at the riverbed of the Kama in the sphere of activity of Prikamneft. The drain tunnel was constructed at the riverbed at the depth of 8-10 m.
