In January-May of 2012, Omsk oil-processing plant increased the oil processing by 4% to 8.39 million tons

In January-May of 2012, the Omsk oil-processing plant, belonging to Gazpromneft, increased the volume of oil processing by more than 4% as compared with the same period of the last year to 8.39 million tons. According to the Gazpromneft’s press-centre, at the same time, the production of high-octane automobile gasoline was increased by 18.4% to 1.7 million tons, and jet kerosene – by 7% to 597.5 thousand tons.

In May of this year, naphtha hydrotreater of neat cracking with capacity of 1.2 million tons per year was launched at the plant, the report said. It is a part of the complex, the second stage of which - diesel hydro-treater with capacity of 3 million tons – is planned to be launched in the third quarter of 2012.
