In 2012, Gazprom increased reception of gas from independent producers to gas transportation system

In 2012, Gazprom increased the amount  of gas from independent producers to the gas transportation system, the Head of the Russian gas holding company, Alexei Miller stated at the annual meeting of shareholders on Friday.

“In 2012, 666.2 billion cubic meters of gas were supplied to Gazprom’s gas transportation system in Russia. A part of this gas in the amount of 96 billion cubic meters is gas of companies that are not in the Group. This is by 14 billion cubic meters more than in the previous year. Thus, we extended use of our system by exterior producers of natural gas,” – he said.
