Rosgeologiya has discovered 2 industrial copper objects in Bashkiria

​The North-Caucasus production geological association (in the structure of Rosgeologiya) has discovered 2 industrial copper-zinc-sulfide ore objects at the Novopetrovsky site in the Khaubullinsky district of Bashkiria.

The capacity of these objects makes up 2.9-3.3 m, average weighted copper content – 4.49-7.86%, zinc – 1.69-18.76%.

It is planned to complete the works at the Novopetrovsky site by the end of 2017.

In the summer 2015 Privolzhsknedra on the results of purchases transferred the orders for the search of copper-sulfide ore deposits at the Novopetrovsky site to Rosgeologiya.

The price of the contract is 196.5 mln roubles. the goal of works is to discover copper-sulfide objects with localization and assessment within the limits of P1 forecast resources of copper – 300 thousand tons, zinc-600 thousand tons, P2 – 500 thousand tons, zinc – 900 thousand tons, economically reasonable for development.
