The Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant is experimenting with the promising raw material.

The Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant (part of the Polar Division of Norilsk Nickel) has begun an experiment of processing a promising raw material in furnace number 2 on, which is mainly composed of the nickel concentrate from the Norilsk Ore-Processing Plant.

As part of the experiment it is planned to process more than 3.5 tons of the concentrate in the second production line daily, including about 1 thousand tons of the nickel concentrate from the Norilsk Ore-Processing Plant per day, as well as a significant amount of crushed nickel slag. Such raw material should be processed by Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant from 2016.
