Mechel has purchased 7.4% of bonds of 4th series for 372 mln roubles by open offer

​Mechel OJSC in the framework of the offer purchased 372.428 thousand bonds of the 4th series, the company reports.

The obligations are executed in full.

The issue volume is 5 mln bonds with the nominal value of 1 thousand roubles. Thus the bank purchased 7.4% of bonds. The offer was executed in time.

In July 2009 the company placed 7-year bonds of the 4th series for 5 bln roubles. The bonds have 28 quarterly payments. The rate of the current coupon is 2% per annum.

 There are 8 issues of classic Mechel’s bonds with the total value of 40 bln roubles in circulation now.

As of July 15th 2015 Mechel’s debt reached $6.772 bln, 69% of which was borrowed from the state banks.
