In Q2, UC Rusal increased aluminum production by 1.1%

In the second quarter 2015, aluminum production of UC Rusal made up 908 thousand tons, which is by 0.8% more than in the first quarter of 2015 and by 1.1% more as compared with the second quarter of 2014, the company reports in its press release.
In the second quarter 2015, the volume of the aluminum sales amounted to 808 thousand tons, which is by 5.1% less as compared to the first quarter of 2015. The volume of the aluminum sales in the second quarter of 2015 decreased as compared to the higher than usual volume of the metal sales in the first quarter of 2015, which was due to compensation for delays in the deliveries in October-November 2014 because of adverse weather conditions in ports.
