The development of the Ametistovoye deposit has again started in the north of Kamchatka. It was discovered last century, but only recently people began to mine mineral resources here. The Ametistovoye deposit, besides gold and silver, is rich with mercury, sulfur and tin.
At present, works on mining of goldbearing ore is in full swing here, and a modern ore-dressing and processing enterprise is being constructed. It’s difficult to imagine, but the Ametistovoye goldmine was neglected for several decades.
