Gazprom and Rosnano have agreed 2 pilot sites for construction of gas pipelines out of composite pipes

The chairman of Gazprom, A. Miller, and chairman of Rosnano Ltd, A. Chubais, have held another joint meeting dedicated to the issues of implementation of innovational products at Gazprom’s production sites. The participants of the meeting agreed 2 pilot sites for the construction of the gas pipelines out of composite pipes. The first one is a 90 km gas pipeline-offset to Salekhard, Labytnangi and Kharp village in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area. It is planned to use the 300, 700 and 1,000 mm diameter pipes for its construction. They are meant for the working pressure of 7.5 MPa.

The 2nd one is a 14 km reserve underwater pass via the Ob River of the route gas pipeline “Yamburg-Tula-2” in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area. It will be necessary to producer pipes of 1,200 mm diameter with the working pressure of 7.5 MPa.
