Work on privatization of Rosneft has started

The Russian Government has maintained its plans on the privatization of Rosneft in 2015, the Economic Development Minister, Alexei Ulyukayev reported to the RIA Novosti.
The sale of the Rosneft’s package in the amount of 19.5% of shares is in the privatization plan for the period until 2016. The Ministry of Finance included in the budget-2015 the revenues from the Rosneft privatization in the amount of $11.73 billion. The Government’s share in the share capital of Rosneft makes up 75.2%.
"The plan still exists, preliminary work is already being carried out. It will be the sale of the entire share of the state (19.5%), probably, in two tranches. It’s too early to talk about who will be the main buyers,"- said Ulyukayev.
