In 2013, the base of profitable oil reserves in Russia will increase to over 20 billion tons from 12 billion tons in 2012 due to fiscal expansion, the Deputy Minister of Energy, Anatoly Yanovsky stated at the opening of the International Energy Week.

This is also connected with technology breakthrough in the production at hard to recover reserves, he added.
