A new oil terminal may be be built in Azerbaijan

A new oil terminal might be built at a new Baku international trading sea port in the settlement Alyat, 65 km to the south of Baku if the necessity arises.

It is said  in the concept of the socio-economic development of the country for 2014 and the following 3 years.

“A new port will allow handling of dry cargo, the transportation of conveyors and shipping of ferry vessels. An oil terminal can also be built on the territory of the port in future,” is said in the concept note.
