France has confirmed its interest in Nord Stream-2

​France has confirmed its interest in the realization of the Nord Stream-2, the Minister of Energy of Russia, A. Novak, said on the results of the meeting with the Minister of Ecology, Stable Development and Energy of France, S. Royal.

We also discussed the issues concerning the Russian and French companies in joint projects. One of the largest joint projects of Gazprom and Engie is the expansion of Nord Stream-2 (branches 3 and 4 of Nord Stream).

The shareholders agreement of the JV New European Pipeline AG that will construct Nord Stream-2 was signed on September 4th. The shareholders are Gazprom (51%), E.On (10%), OMV (10%), BASF/Wintershall (10%) and Engie (9%).
