Gordievich deposit’s reserves might make up to 100 bln cubic m of gas

The reserves of the Gordievich deposit at the shelf of the Black Sea might make up to 100 bln cubic m of gas, Chernomorneftegas thinks. The enterprise plans to drill wells to confirm the reserves, the CEO, I. Shabanov said.
The Gordievich site is a gas deposit at the shelf in the north-western part of the Black Sea. The layer at the Gordievich deposit is located at the depth of over 2 thousand m. In early October the Minister of Natural Resources, S. Donskoi, said that 9 applications had been filed for the re-issue of licenses in the Crimea in the oil and gas sphere for working at the shelf, 7 of them by Chernomorneftegas.
