In Q3 of 2015, UC Rusal increased aluminum production by 1% to 916 thousand tons

In the third quarter of 2015, aluminum production of UC Rusal made up 916 thousand tons, which is by 1% more as compared to the second quarter of 2015, the company reports. In the first nine months of 2015, the aluminum production made up 2.724 million tons, an increase by 1.4% as compared to the same period in 2014. The capacity use coefficient was about 95%.
In the third quarter of 2015, the volume of the aluminum sales made up 939 thousand tons,an increase by 5.7% as compared to the second quarter of 2015. The growth was caused by the increased sales on the domestic and overseas markets, UC Rusal reports. In the third quarter, the share of value-added products in the structure of the aluminum products sales increased to 46%.
