Bashneft to settle 1.51% of general reacquired stock

The Board of Bashneft on February 2nd plans to arrange the extraordinary meeting of shareholders to consider the issue of settlement of the company’s general reacquired stock, the chairman said.
“It is planned to discuss the reduction of the company’s registered capital due to the settlement of a package of genera reacquired stock at the volume of 2,724,173 pieces – 1.51% of the registered capital”, he said.
These shares were purchased by Bashneft in April 2014 from the shareholders in the framework of the company’s reorganization by means of joining of Bashneft-Invest CJSC.
In conformity with the law, these papers are to be settled or sold within a year.
