SOCAR hopes to buy cheap energy from Turkey

SOCAR Power Enerji Yatirimlari (subsidiary of SOCAR Turkey Enerji) will build cogeneration subdivision on the territory of the Turkish Petrochemical complex Petkim. According to a statement by SOCAR, Petkim, where it owns a controlling stake (61.32%) receives steam and electric power generated with the help of natural gas.
