Gas extraction at Shakh-Deniz stayed at a stable level in 2015 – BP
In 2015, 9.9 bln cubic m of gas were extracted at the Shakh-Deniz deposit in the Azeri sector of the Caspian – it meets the level of 2014, is said in the report of BP-Azerbaijan -2015.
In 2015, 2.3 mln tons or 18.3 mln barrels of condensate were extracted at the deposit.
In 2015 the maximum capacity of the extraction system at the deposit made up 29.5 mln cubic m of gas a day or about 10 bln cubic m a year.
In 2014 gas extraction at Shakh-Deniz made up 9.9 bln cubic m, by 1% more than in 2013 (9.8 bln cubic m), and 2.3 mln tons or 18.7 mln barrels of condensate. The maximum capacity of the extraction system at the deposit was increased from 27.3 mln to 29.5 mln cubic m of gas a day. It was a result of optimization of technological units.
