Gas redistribution of Europe gains momentum

After Russia was forced to stop the South Stream project, it began to show interest in opening of a new gas corridor in the south of Europe. Today, although the passions around the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline, via which gas from Russia must be supplied to Germany and then on to Europe, are heating up, but Russia still tries to secure and to play "European gas card", offering more and more new gas projects. This was written by the Italian edition Il Foglio.

So, just recently a memorandum of understanding between Gazprom, the French group company Edison and Greek Depa Edf on development of joint plans for a new project of the Itgi-Poseidon gas pipeline was signed.
