Gazprom increased gas export to Europe by 37.5% in January 2016
The growth of the Russian gas export to Germany from the beginning of the year made up 44%, Italy-42%, France-73%, Austria-52%, Gazprom’s head, A. Miller, said.

If in 2015 the absolute growth of export made up 11.8 bln cubic m of gas, in Jan-Feb 2016 it is already plus 7.5 bln cubic m in absolute terms, he said.
Speaking about the projects of construction of new gas transportation route to Europe, they are all economically reasonable projects, that have been confirmed by the growing demand.
In 2015 Gazprom increased gas export to the far abroad countries by 8% to 159.4 bln cubic m. The volume of supplies to Germany in 2015 rose by 17.1% having made up the record 45.3 bln cubic m, Italy –rose by 12.6%, France – by 36.8%, UK – by 10.2%, Austria – 11.5%.
