Gazprom and Total to sign a new agreement by Shtokman

Gazprom and Total will prepare a road map aimed at the signing of a new agreement on the realization of the Shtokman deposit’s development in the Barents Sea. The heads of 2 companies, A. Miller and C. de Margerie, agreed on Thursday.

On Thursday at the central office of Gazprom a working meeting of the chairman of Gazprom, A. Miller, and the head of Total SA, C. de Margerie, took place. The parties discussed the cooperation by the project at the Ipaty and Akio blocks in Bolivia. This week the Parliament of Bolivia approved the agreement according to which Total will give a part of its stake in the project to Gazprom.
