FSK has filed a claim for 8.2 bln roubles against MRSK North Caucasus

​FSK (in the structure of Rosseti) has filed a claim on the collection of 8.2 bln roubles of losses against another affiliate of the holding – MRSK North Caucasus, Rosseti reports.

The claim is filed concerning the collection of losses caused by improper actions of MRSK North Caucasus at the execution of obligations by the agreement on the transfer of powers of the sole executive body Nurenergo OJSC as of September 29th 2006… at the amount of 8.234 bln roubles, is reported.

The claim was made on March 25th.

Nurenergo ships electric energy by the electric networks in the Chechnya republic. The company was also the guarantee supplier in the republic but was deprived of this for its debts in the wholesale market. The amount of its debts reached 11 bln roubles. In May 2015 the functions of Nurenergo transferred to Chechenenergo (controlled by MRSK North Caucasus).

FSK holds 77% of shares of Nurenergo, Rosseti – 23%.
