SOCAR to increase oil production due to new well at Oil Rocks field

SOCAR has started drilling of new well at the Oil Rocks field. This was reported by SOCAR on March 28, 2016.
The drilling of the well №2161 is carried out from the platform №2150. The project depth is 1.86 thousand square meters. The drilling will be carried out to the producing layer of Nadkirmakinskaya Sand Formation. The well production is projected at the level of 10 tons of oil per day.
