Oil production enterprises of the Sakhalin region reduced oil production by 9.5% in Q1

In Q1, 2013 the oil-producing enterprises of the Sakhalin region produced 3.2 million tons of oil. It is by 9.5% less the level of January-March 2012. The Minister of Economic Development of the region S.Karpenko said at a meeting of the regional government, which took place on Monday.

According to him, gas production went down by 3% against January-March 2012 and made up 7.1 billion cubic meters. Liquefied natural gas supplies for an export to the Asian-Pacific Ocean countries made up 3 million tons (98.2% against Jan-March 2012) within the framework of “Sakhalin-2”.
