EU in an effort to make peace between Naftogaz and Gazprom

The EU Commission has sent proposals on further regulation of gas problems to the Government of the Ukraine and Russian Federation. The Commissioner for Energy M.Sefcovic stated at a briefing in Kiev.
“We anticipate a response from the Ukraine and Russia. We hope to hold a trilateral meeting,” he said.
According to Sefcovic, EU has contacts with both Ukraine and Russia. “We had fruitful talks last week,” he said.
