From 2015 the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation will increase the funding exploration of solid mineral deposits in Eastern Siberia and the Far East by 40%, Sergei Donskoi, the RF Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment.

Today "the exploratory groundwork" for the most popular types of minerals is created in Eastern Siberia and the Far East, the capacity of BAM and the Trans-Siberian Railway has enhanced to improve the energy security projects. "In 2013 a number of important decisions were made, in particular, the measures of tax and customs tariff incentives for the extraction of hydrocarbons on the continental shelf, so the most favorable economic conditions in the world are on the shelf now - the minister stated. - The adoption of the tax exemptions on income tax, property tax and mineral extraction on priority investment projects were an important measure for the implementation of the investment projects in the Far Eastern Federal District and the individual entities of the country".
