Gas extraction fell by 5.3% to 220.7 bln cubic m in Russia in Jan-April 2015

​Gas extraction in Russia in Jan-April 2015 fell by 5.3% to 220.7 bln cubic m against Jan-April 2014, the Ministry of Economic Development reports.

Gas extraction in April made up 51.4 bln cubic m.

Gas export from Russia in Jan-April 2015 fell by 18.6% to 57.9 bln cubic m. In April the export made up 14.5 bln cubic m.

It was previously reported referring to “Gazprom export” that in Jan-April 2015 Gazprom exported 47.85 bln cubic m of gas against 55.5 bln cubic m a year earlier. Gazprom exported by 5.6% more gas in April compared to April 2014 – 13.5 bln cubic m.
