Rosneft plans to sell its drilling unit to NADL

Within the deal with the drilling company North Atlantic Drilling Limited (NADL), Rosneft planned to sell its drilling division RN-drilling to the partner, NADL informs in its report for the first quarter 2015.
After in May last year, Rosneft and the Norwegian SeaDrill signed a cooperation agreement on the shelf and investment, president of the Russian company Igor Sechin spoke about the possibility of combining RN-drilling with Seadrill, which owned 70.4% of the NADL’s shares, and on February 2014, he noted that the oil company intended to develop RN-Drilling, but not to sell it.
