Eni and KazMunayGas to found a JV for geological exploration at the Caspian

Eni and KazMunayGas will hold exploration works at the Isatai deposit in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian.
Isatai will be operated by the JV of Eni and KMG on parity basis.
Isatai is very sensitive in the ecological aspect of extraction, so Eni will share its technologies and experience with the JV.
The transfer of the stake is expected to be over within a few months provided the deal is approved by the Government of Kazakhstan.
