Expenditure of CQD in the framework of TANAP to exceed $6 bln until 2020

​The total expenditure of Canub Qaz Dehlizi (CQD, Southern Gas Corridor) in the framework of TANAP until 2020 will exceed $6.2 bln, the head of the Department for Investment of SOCAR, V. Aliev, said.

As of the end of May 2016 in the framework of the project the expenditure made up $ 2 bln 91.2 mln.

As of the end of May 2016, 26.3% of planned works have been completed: 1,166 km of pipes have been produced, 929 km of pipes have been delivered to the construction sites an 533 km of pipes have been welded.

Canub Qaz Dehlizi was founded for the effective management over the Shakh-Deniz-2, expansion of the South Caucasus gas pipeline, construction of TANAP and TAP.

The stake of SOCAR in the company makes up 49%, of Government – 51%. The State Petroleum Fund of Azerbaijan financed the participation of the Government in Canub Qaz Dehlizi.

The supplies by TANAP are expected in June 2018.

The value of the project is assessed at $9.2 bln.
