Gazprom to be issued land for Amur GPP without a tender
The Government of Russia has approved the issue of the land for the construction of the Amur gas processing plant (GPP) to “Gazprom processing Blagoveschensk” Ltd (Gazprom’s affiliate) without a tender.
The Government ordered Rosimuschestvo to sign the lease agreement with the company for the total area of 34,341 sq m.
Gazprom was reported to start the construction of the basement for the GPP until the end of the year. The Amur GPP will become the largest enterprise in the world on gas processing, its project capacity is up to42 bln cubic m a year. 6 units on processing of 7 bln cubic m of gas a year will be constructed at the plant.
The plant will be constructed in 5 stages – the first one presupposes the launch of 2 gas units for 14 bln cubic m of gas. The construction of the Amur GPP will be over in 2024. The approximate value of the construction makes up 790.6 bln roubles.
Multi-component gas from the Yakutia and Irkutsk centers o gas extraction will be shipped by Power of Siberia to the plant.
