The 200 millionth ton of oil to be extracted in the Nenets autonomous district in autumn of 2014

According to analysts, by the end of September and beginning of October 2014, the 200 millionth ton of oil will be extracted in the Nenets autonomous district.

As of July the 1st, 2014, the accumulated oil production in the Nenets autonomous district made up196 553 thousand tons since the beginning of the production (excluding the production at the Prirazlomnoye field).

According to the head of the district on Natural Resources S.Chibisov, in the first six months of 2014, 6 843 thousand tons of oil or 47, 65% of the annual plan were produced in the Nenets autonomous district, which is by 5.3% more than in the same period in 2013.

In the first six months of 2014, the main volume of the oil production in the Nenets autonomous district was provided by Lukoil-Komi (32.8%), Rusvietpetro (23.5%), Total PPP (11.4%), RN-Severnaya neft (11.3%) and Bashneft-Polus (5.3%).
