Gas deficit in Kiev to make up 50% in winter

So the Government starts active work on the preparations for the winter in such conditions hoping to find alternative sources of energy.

The first deputy chairman of the Kiev State Administration, I. Nikonov, held a meeting where besides the city monopolies he invited the companies that suggest their variants of solving the problem of natural gas use reduction as the main type of fuel.

According to him, the city council of Kiev now studies the opportunity of application of alternative types of energy for continuous heating of the social infrastructure: hospitals, schools, kindergartens etc. One of the main goals is the energy saving and a reduction of heat loss.
