Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz wins auction for Stakhanovsky licensed site

Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz has won the auction for the right for the study, geological exploration and production of hydrocarbons at the Stakhanovsky licensed area in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district.

The field’s registered recoverable oil reserves of the C2 category are estimated at 8.6 million tons. It is planned that the full development of the asset will begin in 2017; until then geological exploration will continue at the field to clarify the volume of the reserves and preparation of the development concept.

The site is located next to the existing transportation infrastructure. This will provide an additional synergistic effect. In particular, in the future the field will be connected to an adjacent booster compressor station of the Gazpromneft’s Yarainerskoye field.
