Сolour coating line №1 was launched at the plant ten years ago, the colour coating line №2 - five years ago.
The colour coating line №1 was launched on 16 July 2004. The line, made by VOEST-ALPINE (Austria) with capacity of 200 thousand tons became another link in the process chain, consisted of investment projects, previously implemented at the plant - continuous -casting machine in oxygen-converter plant, reversing mill in rolling mill № 5 and continuous hot dip galvanizing line in metal-coating shop.
In October, the colour coating line reached its optimal production capacity - 17 000 tons per month. In August 2005, it achieved the first 100-thousandth point, and in September 2010, the millionth ton of coated steel was made.
