We have explored different forms of gases held by rocks and found elevated, high and in some cases even "hurricane" concentration of hydrocarbon gases in oil-and-gas source rock. This is circumstantial evidence that shale gas can be found in subsoil of the Perm region,"- head of the sector of gases research Galina Titova said.
