Indians leave American shale gas

Reliance Industries (Mumbai), owned by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is going to give up investments in US shale gas. According to the information resource World Oil, an informed source, who asked to remain anonymous, stated this.

The largest Indian holding company, capitalization of which now stands at $51 billion, invested $8 billion in the development of shale deposits in the USA, but now it wants to sell the assets. The reason for this was the sharp drop in revenues from the production due to lower natural gas prices.
