Sechin to negotiate entering the retail fuel market of China with CNPC

On Thursday the Head of Rosneft Igor Sechin will conduct one more round of the negotiations with CNPC, a source reported.

During the meeting the partners will consider the marketing issues connected with the project of the oil-refining plant in Chinese Tiānjīn.

“The main goal of the negotiations is Rosneft’s entering the retail market of China via the JV Vostok Neftekhimiya, including participation of the JV in development of the fueling stations network (up to 300 stations)”, the source reported. “If the corresponding arrangements are reached, some amount of the products can be exported”.
