Two perspective oil and gas objects have been discovered in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea as a result of drilling of the first exploratory well at the site Zhambyl, the KazMunaiGas’s press centre reports.
At the beginning of August of 2013, the Kazakh Minister of Oil and Gas, Uzakai Karabalin reported to the President of the republic that during the test of the exploratory well at the Zhambyl structure an oil inflow with yield of 60 tons per day was received, and it might be said that new field had been discovered.
