Mechel has executed obligations by the offer of bonds of 13-14 series for 1 bln roubles

​Mechel OJSC has purchased 499,927 thousand bonds of the 13th series and 499.248 thousand tons of the 14th series by the offer held in the framework of the restructuring.

The issuer was supposed to purchase 500 thousand bonds of the 13th series and 500.006 thousand bonds of the 14th series, according to the conditions approved at the meeting of bonds holders.

The obligation to buy 73 bonds of the 13th series and  758 bonds of the 14th series was not executed due to the “incorrect number of bonds stated in the applications by the acceptors”.

The holders of bonds offered 4 mln 707.854 thousand bonds of the 13th series and 4 mln 719.464 thousand bonds of the 14th series. Mechel set a coefficient of bonds purchase for the 13th series at 10.6206%, and 10.5944% for the 14th series.
