Irkutsk affiliate of the First freight company becomes the exclusive partner of the Siberian coal energy company on transportation of coal from the Apsatsk coal open-cast

The Irkutsk affiliate of the First freight company (PGK) has become the exclusive partner of the Siberian coal energy company (SUEK) on the transportation of coal from the Apsatsk coal deposit in the Transbaikal region, the PGK’s press centre reports.

The monthly volume of the coal transportation from the Apsatsk coal deposit must be increased due to the development to 34.5 thousand tons before the end of 2012, the company expects.

 From 2013, the PGK’s Irkutsk affiliate plans to transport about 50 thousand tons of coal per month to the Far East, in the Krasnoyarsk region and also to South Korea through ports of the Far East.

By the 25th of October, PGK dispatched and transported 5.4 thousand tons of the freight from the deposit; according to SUEK, more than 7 thousand tons of coal will be transported in PGK’s open goods trucks before the end of the month. The first consignment was transported on October, 12.

“Coal is one of the main freights of PGK, which traffics at the company’s trucks made up 36 million tons for the first 6 months of 2012, 26 million of them – by Railway. SUEK is one of the key clients of PGK – for the first 6 months the volume of its freight, transported by PGK, made up 7 million tons,” – the press centre of the carrier adds.
