Gazprom and Rosneft have been rated again in the Top-10 list of 250 leading global energy companies published by Platts. Gazprom is still the fourth, and Rosneft has raised from the ninth to the sixth place. Lukoil downshifted from the seventh to the eleventh place.
The leader is the American ExxonMobil again, as well as for 10 last years. The second is BP that has been restored after the financial losses from the payments after the oil spillage in the Mexican Gulf in 2010. The Norwegian Statoil downshifted from the fifth to the sixteenth place after reduction of revenue due to the sales of the assets and the fall in gas price.
