The operator of Lukoil’s projects abroad, Lukoil Overseas has registered Lukoil Overseas Holding Gmbh the holding company of the upper level in Vienna, within the bounds of the restructuring and transition of the corporate-service center of the company from Moscow to Dunai.
Earlier the parent company was Lukoil Overseas Ltd registered in 1997 at the British Virgin islands. RIA News reports that the main event of 2013 for Lukoil Overseas was restructuring of the company aimed an an improvement of its competitiveness, the introduction of the international management standards, leaving of the offshore jurisdictions and minimization of the state and tax risks.
