In 2013, Ukraine reduced oil production by 4% and halved imports

In 2013, Ukraine reduced oil production by 3.9% to 3 million tons, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry reports. In December, the state extracted 250,200 tons, the same as in December 2012. Naftogaz Ukraine extracted 2.7468 million tons of the volume last year (-5.1%), including 223,300 tons in December (-1.3%).

Oil imports into the Ukraine reduced by 2.3 times to 659,100 tons, including 3,000 tons in December. The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry reports that supplies to the Ukrainian oil refineries were 3.2706 million tons in 2013 (-18.5%), including 217,900 tons in December (-28.4%).
