Gazprom has no negotiatons on Naftogaz’s debt

The Ukrainian officials do not solve the problem of unpaid gas debt and do not negotiate about that, the Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Management Board A. Medvedev says.

Naftogaz Ukraine was to pay off the debt of $2.7 billion for supplies in 2013 before January 25 2014. Mr. Medvedev says that Gazprom waited any visit from the management of the Ukrainian energy sector, but the Government resigned. Gazprom awaits that all closed contracts will be executed. Earlier they reported that the Ukrainian side asked for postponing in payments for the supplies in 2014.
