Lukoil and Rosneft show interest in new tender in Norway

Lukoil and Rosneft have shown interest in the 23rd licensed round in Norway, where geological exploration blocks of the former disputed (grey) zone at area of 44 thousand square km are put up.

Initially, 40 companies, including Lukoil, presented by its Norwegian subsidiary Lukoil Overseas North Shelf, filled applications for 140 blocks in the Barents Sea and 20 in the Norwegian Sea, the corporate newspaper of Lukoil Overseas (operator of international upstream projects of Lukoil) reports.
