Oil production at AChG to go down in 2014

Crude oil production at “Azeri-Chirague-Guneshli” will go down in 2014 against 2013 (32.5 mln tons). The head of the regional office of BP in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey G.Birrell asserted at the briefing.
According to him, scheduled suspension and the repair of 2 platforms (Central and Western) will influence the reduction of production. The well at the platforms will be killed and gas and oil production will be terminated during this period.
